# Why can't I reset my password?

If you're unable to reset your password on Talview, it's usually due to an issue with your email address or the magic link. This can prevent you from regaining access to your account. In this article, you will find the most common causes and fixes to complete your password reset successfully.

| You're entering the wrong email address | Make sure you're entering your registered email address. <br />Check for typos or extra spaces.                                                            |
| You're selecting the wrong account      | If multiple accounts are linked to your email, make sure you select the right one on the **Pick an account** screen before clicking ***Forgot password?*** |
| You didn't receive the magic link       | - Check your spam or junk folder. <br />- If it's not there, wait for the resend timer to expire and click **Resend code** to request a new magic link.    |
| The magic link has expired              | Magic links are time-sensitive. Return to the login page and repeat the process to request a new one.                                                      |
| Your browser is causing issues          | - Clear your browser cache and cookies. - Try opening the magic link on a different browser.                                                               |
