# Why can't I log in with my password?

Logging in to Talview with your password may fail for a number of reasons, such as an unrecognized email address, an incorrect password, or a browser issue. This can prevent you from accessing your account and getting started. In this article, you will find the most common causes and fixes to get back in quickly.

| You're not on the **Login** tab          | Make sure the **Login** tab is selected before entering your email address.                                                                                                                                                    |
| You're entering the wrong email address  | Check for typos or extra spaces and re-enter your registered email address.                                                                                                                                                    |
| Your verification code has expired       | Verification codes are time sensitive. <br />Return to the login page and request a new one.                                                                                                                                   |
| You didn't receive the verification code | Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, wait for the resend timer to expire and click **Resend code**.                                                                                                              |
| You're selecting the wrong account       | If multiple accounts are linked to your email, make sure you're selecting the right one on the **Pick an account** screen.                                                                                                     |
