# Why did the form not get created after clicking "+ New Form"?

If you clicked **+ New Form**, entered a form name, selected a form type, and clicked **Create Form** but the form wasn't created on Talview's Admin platform, you won't be able to start building. This can happen due to network issues, missing required fields, or a temporary error.

### 🔎 Troubleshooting common issues

| :----------------------------------------------------------- | :---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The form name field was left empty                           | The **Form name** field is required.<br />Go back and enter a name for your form before clicking **Create Form**.                                                 |
| Your internet connection dropped during form creation        | Check your internet connection. If it's unstable, switch to a stable network, click **Cancel**, and start the form creation process again from `+ New Form`.      |
| A temporary server error prevented the form from being saved | Wait a few minutes and try again. Click **Cancel** to return to the Forms list, then click `+ New Form` and repeat the steps.                                     |
| Your session expired while you were on the creation screen   | If you were on the creation screen for a while without taking action, your session may have expired. <br />Log out, log back in, and try creating the form again. |
| Your browser is loading a cached version of the page         | Press `Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows)` or` Command + Shift + R (Mac`) to do a hard reload, then try creating the form again.                                          |

  **Additional Tips**

  * After clicking **Create Form**, wait for the Form Editor to fully load before taking any other action. Navigating away too quickly may interrupt the creation process.
  * If the issue persists after trying all the steps above, contact your organisation admin.
