# How to attempt a proctored LTI lesson

> This guide provides a step-by-step process for students on how to attempt an LTI lesson within Skilljar LMS. 

**1. Access the quiz**

* Open your web browser and enter the test domain URL provided by your course administrator.
* Append the specific course ID to the URL if required. This will direct you to the correct course page.

**2. Register or Sign In**

* If you are a new user, you need to **register** for an account. Follow the registration prompts and provide the necessary information to create your account.
* If you already have an account, simply **sign in** using your valid credentials (username and password).

**3. Start the quiz**

* After logging in, click on the **“Start”** button to begin the quiz.

**4. Take the quiz**

* Proceed to answer all the questions as per the instructions provided in the quiz.
* Click on **Submit All Answers** to submit the quiz.
* Optionally, you can provide feedback on the test experience, once done click **Submit**.
* Close the browser window and return to the course page.
