# How to attempt a proctored quiz

> Follow these steps to access and view the playback of each student's quiz session attempt. 

**1. Access the proctored quiz**

* Use your student credentials to log into Moodle LMS.
* Click on the **My Courses** tab in the navigation panel.
* Click on the desired course to expand its topics, then click on the proctored quiz you want to attempt.

**2. Starting the proctored quiz**

* Click on the **Attempt Quiz** button. This will initiate the proctoring pre-flight checks.
* The system will run through a series of checks to ensure everything is set up correctly for proctoring. Once you've successfully passed these checks, the quiz questions will appear, with proctoring running in the background.

**3. Completing the Quiz**

* Attempt all the questions in the quiz.
* Once you have answered all the questions, click on the **Finish Attempt** button.
* Review the attempt summary to ensure you have answered all questions to your satisfaction.

**4. Submitting the Quiz**

* Click on the **Submit All and Finish** button. A confirmation pop-up message will appear.
* Click on **Submit All and Finish** again in the pop-up to confirm your submission.

**5. Ending the Proctoring Session**

* Click on the **Finish Review** button to end the proctoring session.
* You may choose to provide feedback on your proctoring experience.
* Once done, you will be redirected back to the quiz page.

By following these steps, you will be able to successfully complete your proctored exam in Moodle LMS.
